The CIG team is a bipartisan group of former public officials, agency professionals and communications experts that have decades of experience at all levels of government. CIG’s clients benefit from the firm’s significant relationships on both sides of the political aisle and its ability to understand and manage complex issues.

CIG’s principals Gene Mulroy and Gerry Gibbs are well-known, respected government affairs professionals who are directly involved in helping clients to meet their objectives.

Gene Mulroy has specialized in developing government relations and grassroots advocacy programs in New Jersey and Washington, DC for nearly two decades. A voice in state and national politics, Gene has served in varying capacities for presidential, gubernatorial and legislative campaigns. He has also held positions in state government with the NJ Department of Treasury and the Department of Law and Public Safety.

Gerry Gibbs is a highly-respected figure in public service with experience at all levels of political, policy and legislative arenas in New Jersey. As a Clinton Administration presidential appointee, Gerry served in the U.S. Department of Labor in the Secretary’s public affairs office where he was responsible for preparation of press briefing materials. More recently, Gerry served in the New Jersey Department of Treasury, as assistant state treasurer and director of the Legislative Affairs Unit which assists and oversees the annual budget process.
